Vintage Briggs & Stratton model U gas engine

Made from 1940-1945 this model was rated at 1hp and featured a unique fuel system using vacuum from the carb to keep a constant fuel level for the engine to draw from reguardless of the level in the tank, eliminating rich and leans conditions associated with suction fuel systems. This one was sold through Sears and retains a faded David Bradley decal.
